A Multi-year Festival at Natlab Eindhoven - Podiumzaal

FIRST EDITION: February 12-13-14, 2026 / 8:30pm
Under the title WHAT U.C. IS WHAT YOU GET, United Cowboys will ‘invade’ the iconic Natlab Eindhoven during two editions per season, with three evening-filling programs per edition, in which new regional work will be presented to an audience, along with international work. The project focuses on offering a sensory art experience. The audience is invited to experience different works from different backgrounds, consisting of dance, music, performance, video and plastic arts, in one ongoing flow. The space of Natlab will be peeled off, more and more we will conquer the Podiumzaal and - altogether - become part of a unique world of imagination and wonder. The program focuses on new developments; because of the personal and intimate approach United Cowboys implements, the presented work becomes more accessible, able to reach a larger audience, and has a connecting effect.
NO DUTCH REQUIRED.
With the support of the ASML x Brabant C, SCE Eindhoven and the Province of Noord-Brabant we will start this mini festival from next year on.
ANOTHER SLEEPING BEAUTY

This season, United Cowboys presents Another Sleeping Beauty, a unique retelling of the classical ballet set to the music of Tchaikovsky. The performance questions what is real and what is imagined: truth, reality—or something in between.
Another Sleeping Beauty takes place in a monumental setting where dance, image, video, and music converge. At the center stands a newspaper structure, in which dancer Conor Doherty—the Sleeping Beauty—lies. Images are projected around him: live close-ups, fairytale fragments, dance, flowers. Seven dancers—a nod to the seven fairies from the original ballet—each bring their own style and power. They dance solos that seduce, warn, or confuse.
As in all United Cowboys' work, Another Sleeping Beauty revolves around contradictions: soft and sharp, love and pain, real and unreal. Not a fairytale, but a performance full of imagination.
Enter the dream world of the sleeping beauty and, if you wish, take your place on stage—among the projections and dancers!
Another Sleeping Beauty is the final installment in a trilogy about Tchaikovsky. United Cowboys previously created Reminition Swanlake (2021-2023) and The Nutcracker (2023-2024), and last season the Eindhoven-based company performed Resilience at the Verkadefabriek.

With every change of season, United Cowboys curates a two-night event presenting new work from the fields of dance, performance, music and fine arts.
National and international artists from different disciplines are invited to the Art House to conduct research and present their new works to an explorative and curious audience.
The audience is invited to experience a selected collection of work first hand in the intimate space of the United Cowboys art house in the city centre of Eindhoven.
The evening is curated and presented by the artistic directors Pauline Roelants and Maarten van der Put in a flow of impressions and experiences.
